Horses on a Mission

For his bar mitzvah, Theo chose a mitzvah project that is near and dear to his heart, focused on helping others in a meaningful, hands-on way. He is supporting Winsome Riding Academy, a therapeutic horseback riding program that helps children and adults with physical, emotional, and intellectual challenges grow stronger and more confident. 

Theo is collecting much-needed items through an Amazon wish list to support the daily care of the horses and the programs they make possible. Every item donated helps ensure that riders can continue to learn, heal, and thrive through their connection with these incredible animals. This project is Theo’s way of turning his bar mitzvah into action, kindness, and responsibility. 

About the Therapeutic Horse Program

Winsome Riding Academy offers year-round therapeutic equine programs for children and adults with physical, emotional, social, and mental health challenges in a fun, safe, structured environment. Led by licensed and certified therapeutic riding instructors who have completed the rigourous process of acquiring their Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors (CTRI) licenses through PATH International, Winsome’s programs are carefully tailored to meet each rider where they are, building strength, muscle-tone, self-confidence, self-esteem to improve physical, emotional and mental well-being.
